Search, export and maintain suggestion setups
Use this page after a suggestion setup is running. It covers the operational features that do not belong in the member or review workflow.
Search and export
Use /suggestion list for a paginated list. It can filter by state, author, net-vote range, relative age and text, and sort by votes or creation date. /suggestion view opens one suggestion, while /suggestion leaderboard ranks open suggestions.
suggestion-export creates a CSV and is available on Premium servers. suggestion-blacklist prevents a member from submitting suggestions. Messages from a blacklisted member are deleted instead of becoming suggestions.
Audit log

Suggestion routes can record submissions, edits, review decisions, state changes, comments, deletions, restores and blacklist changes. Use a private staff channel because suggestion cards identify the author and acting member.
Media storage
A suggestion can include up to eight image or video attachments. With a media channel configured, Aethor keeps the original files on the suggestion message and re-hosts them through the guild’s Aethor Media webhook so they survive deletion of the original member message.
The media channel needs View Channel, Send Messages, Attach Files and Manage Webhooks. Re-hosting uses a 100 MiB per-guild daily in-memory budget. The budget resets at UTC midnight or when the bot restarts.
Without a media channel, suggestions still post, but attachments may not remain available after Discord’s original CDN URL expires.
Stalled setup reminders
After 30 days with no suggestions, Aethor can remind the server to use the channel. It sends at most two reminders and removes the latest reminder when the first real suggestion arrives.

Limits and permissions
In the suggestions channel and any state channel where Aethor should post, it needs:

Free servers get 1 suggestion setup. Premium servers get 5. /setup delete removes a setup and its stored suggestions; there is no undo.
Submissions can come from a typed message, /suggest, a persistent submit button or staff message conversion. Per-setup controls can add a member cooldown, minimum membership age, maximum open suggestions and exact duplicate-text rejection. Shared message limits can still ignore submissions after 60 suggestions from one user or 120 suggestions in one channel within four minutes.
Suggestion moderation actions use Manage Messages by default. You can change Discord command visibility under Server Settings → Integrations → Aethor, but Aethor’s capability checks still decide whether an action runs.
Only image and video attachments are handled, with a maximum of eight per suggestion. State history is always stored. The dashboard’s State history switch controls whether the transition chain is rendered on the latest status message.
Deleting a suggestion or setup is permanent. Export important data before using a delete action.
