Aethor is a Discord bot for collecting and reviewing community suggestions. Members post ideas in a suggestions channel, vote on them, discuss them in an attached thread, and staff move them to an outcome: accepted, denied, planned, implemented or duplicate. It also handles tickets, button roles, invite filtering, autoresponders, announcement crossposting and saved text snippets.

Prefer a web UI to slash commands? The Dashboard manages the server from a browser. Server administrators can delegate individual features with the capability and role permission system.

Choose a starting point

Start here Create a suggestions channel Run the setup command, check permissions, and test the first suggestion. Web UI Use the dashboard Manage suggestions, permissions, tickets, and other server settings from a browser. For admins Delegate access safely Give staff only the Aethor capabilities they need, then test the result.

Set up suggestions

For a first setup:

Add Aethor to the server.
Create or choose a suggestions channel.
Run /setup create and pass the channel.
Use the private dashboard to configure states, threads, media and staff review.
Post a test suggestion and check the member and staff workflows.
