Moving from Suggester
A Suggester alternative that keeps your workflow
Suggester shut down in 2025 and its code is archived. If your server ran on it, Aethor covers the same ground: review before posting, statuses, comments and per-setup configuration.
What carries over
The features you relied on
Suggester was known for depth: setup wizards, a review mode, auto-approve, commenting and status marking. Aethor handles each of those.
Review before posting
Send new submissions to a staff queue and approve or reject them before they reach the public channel. This was Suggester's review mode, and Aethor has it built in.
Statuses and comments
Mark an idea accepted, denied, planned, implemented or duplicate, and leave a staff comment explaining the call. The history stays attached to the suggestion.
Granular per-setup config
Each suggestion setup has its own channels, vote controls, state labels, colors and moderation rules. Free servers get one setup; Premium servers get up to five.
Anti-abuse controls
Cooldowns, membership-age limits, duplicate checks and a cap on open suggestions per member keep the queue clean without constant manual work.
How to switch
Three steps to move over
Add Aethor
Invite the bot and run the setup command to pick your suggestion channel.
Rebuild your workflow
Turn on review mode, set your states and vote controls, and match the setup you had before.
Point members at it
Members submit through the channel, a modal or a button, and staff work the queue from commands, context menus or the manage panel.
