Anonymous suggestions

What Aethor keeps anonymous — and what it does not

Aethor currently shows the suggestion author. Staff can add anonymous moderation comments, but member submissions are not anonymous.

This distinction is deliberate and documented plainly: Aethor is not currently an anonymous suggestion bot. A suggestion is stored with its Discord author and the author appears on the suggestion card.

Suggestion authors are visible

Message, slash-command and submit-button entries all use the same creation workflow and attribute the resulting suggestion to its member.

Staff comments can be anonymous

Moderators can add a comment without displaying their own Discord name. The note is shown as a staff comment on the suggestion.

Moderation still has context

Aethor stores the author ID so blacklists, per-member limits, author editing and deletion controls can work consistently.

No misleading privacy promise

Servers should not tell members that Aethor submissions are anonymous. Use the privacy policy and your own server rules to explain how feedback is handled.
